the much sought after Italian Erbe line, based on
traditional Italian herbal prescriptions.
Erbe has reached
cult status for its fragrant and healing body creams and
natural, aromatic treatment shampoos. Calendula Body Cream
($29.50 for 7oz), made with vegetable and essential oils, is
a soothing and super hydrating skin treatment. It’s also
recommended for stretch marks and pregnancy skin care.
Erbe
Body Cream is also available in Lavender or Bergamot as well
as in a gentle, pH balanced Bath and Shower Gel ($22 for 11.5oz) and Soap ($23 for 10.5oz/3 bars). Not to be missed is Erbe’s Lemon Hand Cream ($15 for 2.6oz).
This
refreshing, non-greasy hand treatment is composed of sweet
almond oil, calendula, lemon, cucumber, avocado and evening
primrose. This has been a staple in my bag for over ten years.
It provides a superb mid-day pick-up with its zesty lemon
fragrance. Erbe also makes an impressive facial skin care and
hair care range.
Another popular line is Speziali
Fiorentini by Derbe from Florence, Italy; Marvelous You
can barely keep the Citrus Blend or White Musk Body Ultra
Rich Body Creams in stock ($19.00 for 5 oz). These heavenly
scented creams are wonderfully silky and moisturizing, truly
in a class by themselves.
Packaged in tubes and boxes with
gorgeous artwork, these make lovely gifts, as do the matching

The
Moisturizing Body Scrub ($19.00 for 8.5oz) provides a
splendid gentle exfoliation with a delicate scent. It leaves
the skin baby soft without any oiliness. The detergent-free
Gentle Shower and Bath Gel ($16.00 for 8.5oz) contains
lettuce leaf to soften and sooth the skin, and amica montana
which has antiseptic and healing properties.
The range also
contains Hand and Body Lotion ($19.00 for 8.5oz), Moisturizing
Olive Oil Soap ($14.00 for 5.75oz), Foaming Bath Oil ($18.00 for

personal favorite, Moisturizing Foot Scrub ($19.00 for 6.4oz), which gives those calluses a thorough workout.
