Next on my list: Better Botanicals’ Kokum Butter Body
Balm ($14.99 for 8 oz). Despite the name, this is actually a
lightweight lotion. The smell is fresh, clean and, yes, botanical.
 It glides on easily and works well on damp or dry skin.
This is a great lotion for summer. Better Botanicals is an appealing company whose product line is based on the principles of Ayurveda: the world’s oldest school of herbal medicine, which originated in India.
Their promise: "We believe these products are the purest
available anywhere. Why put something on you that you wouldn’t
want to put in you?"
The Better Botanicals Web site contains some interesting tidbits of information about Ayurveda and various herbs.
