Ooh La La!
MarieBelle New York
By Tonie Minsal
If
you’re a fan of bath products, chances are you enjoy the finer
things in life, and what could be finer than tea and chocolates?
Marie
Belle does both, and then some, with panache. Not only are
the products some of the best I’ve ever had, but they’re
beautifully packaged and arrive insanely fast ~ FedEx was
knocking the next day with the products for this review.
The
Tea tins are keepers ~ in fact the robin’s egg blue & chocolate
brown color scheme would go well with my friend’s new living
room décor! :)
Tea aficionado that I am, I am not a fan of the chocolate
tea ~ the ones I’ve had in the past were vile, soapy, and
nauseating. Not so with Marie Belle’s Dark Obsession
Chocolate Rose Tea; it’s nice and strong, and possesses a
true, clear chocolate flavor. Produces a decidedly drinkable
cup. I’m not really a fan of flavored teas, and I would buy
this tea.
The Scent Of Night Jasmine Tea is an Oolong with a
lovely, floral flavor. The taste of tannic acid comes through,
which I quite like. Light and clear, nice after meals or for a
mid-afternoon cup.
MarieBelle does Sweet Fig & Walnut Caramels ~ oh my! Buttery, chewy, and delish, these would make a cool gift ~ even
to yourself! The only thing that perplexed me was the addition
of sorbitol to this tasty product ~ hmmm… go figure.
Marie Belle is famous for hot chocolate ~ and I’m famous (in my
own mind!) for drinking it! MarieBelle sent me their
“Spicy”
Aztec Hot Chocolate to review ~ wowee!
This is hot chocolate
the way hot chocolate’s supposed to be ~ really strong, thick,
and spicy sweet ~ chipotle & ancho chile add a nice little bite. This decadent treat can be made three ways: with water, milk, or
chilled into a pudding! Tadow! Need I say highly recommended?
So the next time you want to do something nice for yourself or
someone else, do the memorable thing and get some treats from
MarieBelle New York. You can email me your thanx! :)
