Chocolate + Orange = Yummy

I really fell in love with AromaLeigh's all-natural products
when I tried their "Lovey Dovey Gift Basket" (mentioned in our
Bath & Body Products for Couples article), and I certainly wasn't disappointed with these
great items.
Chocolate Orange Yummy Body Wash ($15 for 8oz) is a
foaming body wash with real cocoa powder and orange extract. It
smells sumptuous (but not overly sweet or sugary, which I love),
foams respectably (sometimes a problem with natural products)
and cleanses without stripping what little oils are left in skin
during winter's bluster.
Aromaleigh's Mad for Mocha Body Scrub ($15 for 8oz) has a foaming cocoa base,
and utilizes ground coffee as the exfoliant. What a clever idea!
The smell of this product is best suited to someone who loves
coffee, because it is strongly influenced by the added java.
Personally, I adore (am completely addicted to) drinks of
the caffeinated-ambrosia variety, so it was right up my alley.
This scrub sloughs really gently, but thoroughly, which is great
for skin that is a little more delicate in colder weather.
I also can't help but wonder if all that caffeine somehow helps
my more, ahem, lumpy areas (hey, we all have them, no big)
because I really do notice a more toned look that lasts the rest
of the day. I can't comment on that aspect, but I'll dig around
a bit and give you all an update on what I find. At any rate,
this is a wonderful body scrub that I really enjoy using.
The one, small drawback to these products is that because they
do use real cocoa, and not some processed, factory-born
substitute, it can leave a bit of a mess in the shower or tub.
It rinses away pretty easily, though, so I wouldn't worry about
that too much unless you are really uptight about cleanliness in
your immaculate ivory or white bathroom.
