Lisa's 3 Favorite Bath and Body Products

Creme De La Mer
($85 for 1oz from is so wildly popular, it sells out almost immediately. You probably won't be able to order it by "pointing and clicking", but can contact them to see when the back order will be in.

This is it - the stuff legends are made of! This ultra-rich cream has garnered nothing less than absolute cult status among the product-obsessed. In case you haven't heard the story, Max Huber, Creme De La Mer's creator, was a NASA scientist burned in a chemical experiment gone terribly wrong.

Neither science nor medicine offered any hope for healing his terribly scarred skin. So, Max went to work, and after over a decade of research, and about 12,000 experiments, Creme De La Mer was born.

This cream takes about 4 months to manufacture, as it goes through an intensive biofermentation process that radically changes the simple components, and turns it into, essentially, a rich, living goo.

While Creme De La Mer is primarily a face cream, it is also a wonderful treatment for scars, abrasions, and other skin irritations. Scars literally "melt" away with regular use, redness fades, and irritated patches magically heal overnight.

You'll only need a dab, (and good thing, because the stuff is wildly expensive, I think) but the results are really quite extraordinary. Truly the only product I've found that is worthy of all the hype surrounding it.

Fresh Sugarbath Brown Sugar Body Polish
($58 for 15oz at Most body scrubs of this ilk are made of pieces of sea salt and essential oils, which is just dandy until you try it on cracked, dry winter-abused epidermus. Salt hurts like crazy when used on broken skin!

This alternative from Fresh is an absolute goddess-send. Brown sugar provides the "grit", and oils like Sweet Almond, Apricot Kernel, Evening Primrose, Lemon, Grapefruit, Orange, Bergamot, Lemongrass, and Citron comprise the moisturizing carrier. Not only does it smell incredible, but it's so much more gentle on the skin - no burning or stinging.

You can wash the excess oil away after exfoliation with your normal soap, but I like to leave it because the mixture seems to stimulate my skin, and make it glow.

BlissLabs Lemon and Sage Body Butter
($28 for 8oz at massages in for some of the softest, smoothest skin your bod has ever seen. The smell is utterly divine, too; a creamy lemon scent with just a hint of "green."

If you have dry skin that desperately needs a dose of moisture, look no further! While it might seem expensive, a little of this thick formula goes a very long way, especially on damp skin. So, the 8 oz tube will last a good long time.
