Soap Without Slip
AHAVA
By Jill Bowling
Another bar soap I tried was
AHAVA's Dead Sea Mineral Glycerin Soap. This white bar soap is smaller than average, but seems to last
longer than most of the other bar soaps I've tried.
It is a very "hard"
soap and requires work to get a good lather. It has a very strange feel,
not "slippery" at all due, I imagine, to the amount of natural
minerals (including Dead Sea Salt).
It's advertised as a vegetable-based, cold cream bar.
It has a very light scent and leaves skin feeling soft and
less dry than I thought it would based on the lack of lather.
The product
states that it "restores skin's natural pH balance" and is made for both
sensitive and dry skin. This product is very reasonably priced
at $6.00 per bar (or 6 for $25.00) and can be found at Sephora.com and
AHAVA.com.
I love
ordering from Sephora.com because they have free shipping over
$60 and free gift packaging. They sent me some great product
samples to try with my order, including hair products and
cuticle cream.
