Glamour Honey
Laura Mercier

Laura
Mercier has always had me at hello, so when she launched her Collection Gourmande, inspired by "the sweet aromas in
French patisseries," I ran to Henri Bendel to investigate.
Upon viewing the glamorous, beveled glass jars and stunning silver boxes, I almost convulsed with joy. But is it all as
good as it looks? It is.
Mercier’s Honey Bath with Honey Dipper ($40 for 12oz) is possibly the most decadent bath product I’ve ever used.
This thick honey emulsion in Crème Brulée
scent
is twirled into bath water with a wooden honey dipper, instantly permeating your bathroom with the scent of caramel,
and filling your tub with endless foaming bubbles.
The only
thing missing from this experience was a young man feeding me grapes and fanning me with palm leaves.
The Sugar Scrub
($46 for 12oz) in Spiced Honey scent contains both sugar granules and exfoliating beads for gentle sloughing, as well
as macadamia nut and sweet almond oils, honey, lavender, ivy, papaya and a host of other botanicals for maximum moisturizing
benefits.
You won’t need a moisturizer after using the Crème Body Wash in Spiced Honey ($36 for 8oz), a rich
shower gel loaded with macadamia nut oil, shea butter and extracts of vanilla bean, cinnamon, coffee bean, cocoa, nutmeg
and honey.
If you prefer bar soap, opt for the large, luxury size Bath Soap ($18 for 7.1oz) in Spiced Honey, Au Lait, or Crème Brulée. This French milled soap lathers beautifully, and softens with pure vegetable oils and olive
oil.
Also available in the Collection Gourmande is Milk Bath ($42 for 8oz), Soufflé Body Crème ($55 for 12oz), and Body
Lotion ($40 for 8.5oz) in the Au Lait scent.
Pricey? Yes. Worth mortgaging your house for? Again, yes. Find them at
LauraMercier.com and Nordstrom.com.
