Heart’s Delight Soap Works

Straight from the Adirondack Mountains,
Heart’s Delight Soap Works offers a Goat Milk Soap
formulation that includes goat milk, alkali salts and
coconut, palm and soybean oils. Like the other companies
profiled here, Heart's Delight gets its milk from its own
goats.
They go one step further with this pledge: "Every
goat is given daily hugs-no animal cruelty here!" Although the soaps are
all-natural, they lather well and last a long time.
I adore
their elegantly scented Rose Petal Goat Milk Soap.
Other scents include: China Rain, Country Apples and Berries,
Gardenia, Orange Vanilla, Sunshine Spice and Anisette Toast.
The soaps make lovely gifts, with each one packaged in a fabric
that matches the scent; the Rose Petal is wrapped in a tasteful
pink floral design, and the Tea Tree comes in a cute green
checker fabric. The bars of soap are $3.60 each.
Heart’s Delight’s rich, non-greasy
Body
Lotion contains a moisturizing mix of goat milk, shea butter,
sweet almond, and avocado, jojoba and grapeseed oil. It is a
must for those with perpetually dry skin. It is available
unscented only; 8oz sells for $11.50.
The company also
produces adorable hand poured beeswax candles in a variety of
colors. For products that reflect country hand crafted charm,
Hearts' Delight is a winner.
