rooted out yet another fine skin care company for your
enjoyment. Let me introduce
Rosa Y Fruta, a line whose products are literally
food for your skin.
 Owner Elizabeth O’Rourke Maldonado is
serious about the
ingredients she uses: food grade, with a lot of organics.
Be
prepared for skincare that is unlike anything you’ve ever tried
~ and results that are unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.
I want to stress the fact that the written word truly does not
do Elizabeth’s creations justice ~ one simply has to experience
the quality of this range for oneself to fully appreciate its
astounding merits.
Since my review, Elizabeth has done herself one better: her
range is now completely customized. You can tailor make any and
all of her products to your heart’s content. As if that weren’t
enough ~ many products are packaged in the amazing
blackish-purple Miron glass that is so scrumdiddlyumptious.
As a reviewer, you can imagine that I have zero need to ever buy
product ~ I have scads ~ but Rosa Y Fruta has been added to the
literally one or two companies that I do purchase from.
First, cleanse & massage face with Chardonnay de Rosa,
a blend of steam-distilled Bulgarian Damask rose blossom water,
& cold-pressed unrefined extra virgin Chardonnay grapeseed oil.
Absolutely lovely & effective. Like no other grapeseed oil I
have ever tried ~ I’ve always thought grapeseed oil was garbage
until now. Unbelievable texture.
Next, exfoliate & deep cleanse with Nectar de Rosa,
a blend of organic rose petal powder berry seed powders, organic
oats, aforementioned grapeseed oil, & steam-distilled orange
blossom oil. Again, amazingly effective ~ leaves skin in a
perfect state.
Champagne de Rosa ~ organic steam-distilled
Bulgarian rose de mai blossom water & oak aged champagne
vinegar. Again ~ a perfect product. To be used in conjunction
with the above two. Smells amazing, works fabulously.
Rubi de Rosa is wild rose berry seed oil with
blueberry, cranberry, & seabuckthorn berry oils. A fine daily
all purpose moisturizer.
Ambrosia de Rosa ~ hydro distilled white rose
essential oil, & nilotica shea butter ~ the holy grail of shea.
A serious moisturizer.
Chocolate de Rosa face mask contains organic dark
chocolate, organic berries, agave nectar, & red wine ~ another
winner. So tempting to eat, but let your skin soak up the
benefits! :)
Bella de Noche, a jasmine into frankincense e/o in
evening primrose oil, is stunningly beautiful ~ use this in the
morning, & you’ll still be able to smell it on your skin at
night. Addicting.
Aqua de Florencia is a combo of jasmine sambac &
white lotus hydrosols ~ unbelievable. Again ~ once you try it,
you won’t want to be without it.
Elizabeth’s products truly defy description ~ they have to be
tried, & the results experienced, to be believed.
This range
comes highly recommended. Go get you some ~ I’ve already placed
